Pedro Cepero Yee, Dipl. ABT (NCCAOM), LMT (NJ), Registered Instructor (AOBTA), Certified Qi Healer (CHAC)

Pedro Cepero Yee is a Diplomate in Asian Bodywork Therapy (NCCAOM), a Registered Instructor (AOBTA®), a Certified Qi Healer and Medical Qigong Therapist (CHAC), a Licensed Massage Therapist (NJ), as well as a world-renowned Master in Hung Ga Kung Fu, being the legally adopted son and most senior disciple of the Grandmaster Frank Yee (Yee Chee Wai).

Pedro Cepero Yee is known for his Traditional Chinese Medical skills and has extensive training, beginning in the 1980’s with Dit Da (Fall and Hit) Traumatology medicine under his Kung Fu teacher, Grandmaster Frank Yee, whose medical skills were inherited from Dr. Sit Cheuk Sing, one of the four fathers of TCM in Hong Kong, whose family were the physicians for 3 generations of Ching Dynasty Emperors, as well as inheriting the Traumatology Medicine from the kung fu lineage of Grandmaster Wong Fei Hung, Tang Fong and Yuen Ling.

In 1987, Pedro became the kung fu instructor for the Saturday private lessons at his Sifu's school. As this was the busiest day for Grandmaster Yee’s school and clinic, Pedro often found himself assisting his teacher in treatments, thereby sparking his interest in helping others in a new way. This led him to apprentice with his teacher, allowing him to learn in a hands-on fashion. As Pedro became more adept at the skills, he sought to expand his knowledge by gaining a deeper understanding of the roots and theory of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

His path led him to learn the Shanghai Rolling Style of Tuina-Chinese Bodywork Therapy of the Shanghai school of Traditional Chinese Medicine under Bill Helm, Tao Shih, of the Taoist Sanctuary of San Diego. In addition, the Village style Tuina and Nei Gong Gee Liao (Energy Transmission methods) of Dr Share K. Lew were also introduced. It was this training that guided him not only to the theory of TCM, but also the structured learning methods of both internal and structural disorders. While in San Diego, he also found the time to learn Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki from two Icelandic Reiki Masters, Rúnel Guðmundsdóttir and Einar Benedikt Gröndal.

After this, he invested time in learning western Swedish Massage Therapy from Kitty Leer, the most senior practitioner and the pioneer in the USA at her Helma Institute of Massage Therapy developing a western understanding of anatomy, physiology and pathology.

As his skills grew, he felt a need to explore more profoundly the core of Traditional Chinese Medicine, progressing to the next level of helping others. He discovered that Medical Qigong Therapy (Qi Healing), was a natural advancement of his manual skillset. Pedro sought out to study Qi Healing under the renowned Chinese Medical Dr. Grandmaster Tzu Kuo Shih, L.Ac., OMD, of the Chinese Healing Arts Center in Danbury, CT. Pedro applied himself deeply to the study and application of his newfound skills. During their time together, he developed a close relationship with Dr. Shih, and the trust that ensued between them culminated in an invitation to contribute to Dr. T.K. Shih’s masterpiece book, Chinese Medical Qigong Therapy, Volume II: The Chinese Art of Healing with Energy, which features Pedro’s contribution, the chapter on the Six Healing Sounds Qigong. This was an extreme honor that Pedro holds close to his heart.

Later on, Pedro learned specialized Ba Duan Jin (8 Pieces of Brocade) Qigong exercise methods with his good friend, Baguazhang Master Chen Yan, who taught at his school for several years. He then learned specialized vibrational-raising Qigong Methods with Master Kwan Ming Kit of the Kootenay Qigong Wellness Center, Nelson, BC, Canada.

On the intuitive level, for many years Pedro mentored in mediumship under Jinny Johnson (Townsend), a famed member of the Edgar Cayce Foundation. Through this increased sensitivity, he has been able to access deeper levels of healing in his patients. The combination of all his skills has led to the founding of The Breathing Mind Perspective®, a powerful method for rediscovering your personal freedom, which has helped people release themselves from the bonds of emotional and societal trauma.

Pedro was an adjunct professor for the Tuina Therapy program at the Eastern School of Traditional Medicine and has also assisted his Tuina teacher at the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in presenting Tuina for Oncology, and the effects of Chemotherapy. He also instructs certification courses and workshops at the Center for Tuina and Qigong Therapy, and both nationally and internationally on Tuina Therapy, Medical Qigong Therapy, and Qigong Methods as well as Hung Ga Kung Fu.

Pedro has been featured in Forbes Magazine for his three greatest teachings that can influence today’s entrepreneurs, also in Mystic Magazine: Master of Holistic Arts and Entrepreneurial Wisdom, as well as film documentaries in China and the USA.

All of his methods and skills, as well as clinical services, are offered at his Clifton, New Jersey School and Clinic (the Center for Tuina and Qigong Therapy) which has operated continuously since 1991, treating a wide range of structural injuries, internal disorders, as well as emotional disharmonies.
